Experiment with AR

In my Robotic Vision/Digital Light course, we are currently learning to work with Microsoft’s Kinect to create interactive experiences.

Thus far, I’ve been interested in creating a nearing sci-fi world inside the computer that you can interact with more naturally than a monitor or touchscreen may be. Interactive, floating buttons are no longer a thing of movies and games.

In these screenshots, there are three boxes which can be touched–if you touch the blue box, your world turns blue. If you touch the red, or the green, your world changes accordingly. I would like to project these buttons onto a piece of frosted glass, and so in real life, when you touch the buttons, the light in the room changes color.
